God’s Words Are Different from Men’s Words

In a world where human opinions fluctuate and words can deceive, it is essential to turn to an absolute source of truth: God’s Word. Unlike human promises that can be broken, God’s words are unchanging, powerful, and life-giving. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35). Trusting in God means building your faith on an unshakable foundation.

1. God’s Word is Truth

Man can lie, exaggerate, or be influenced by emotions, but God’s Word remains pure and perfect. “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17). By relying on divine truth, we avoid the deceptions of the world and walk in light.

2. God’s Word Transforms

Human words may encourage, but only God’s Word can truly transform a life. “For the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword.” (Hebrews 4:12). When we meditate on it and apply it, it renews our minds and leads us on the path of righteousness.

3. God’s Word is a Solid Foundation

In an unstable world, human words change with seasons and circumstances. But Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:24-25 that whoever hears and practices His words is like a man who builds his house on the rock. Life’s storms will come, but they will not shake a life rooted in God.

4. God’s Word is a Reliable Promise

People may promise and fail to keep their word, but God is faithful. “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act?” (Numbers 23:19). His promises are our assurance and hope.
