The God of Love and Compassion

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

The Word of God reveals the reality of sin, and its mark on every soul. Adam and Eve’s disobedience sowed the seed of evil into humanity. Their fall opened the door to darkness in every sphere of life.

But in the midst of this darkness shines a glorious truth: God is love (1 John 4:8). His love was proven through the greatest act of compassion:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...” — John 3:16

How to experience God’s love in your life?

The love of God is found in His Word. When you read the Scriptures, you encounter the Father’s heart. Where His love is revealed, you will find:

1. Sacrifice — John 15:13

2. Forgiveness — Matthew 6:14

3. Support — Psalm 46:1

4. Sharing — Acts 4:32

5. Healing — Isaiah 53:5

6. Restoration — Joel 2:25

7. Blessing — Deuteronomy 28:2

8. Deliverance — Psalm 34:17

9. Fruit of the Spirit — Galatians 5:22

10.Divine visitation — Luke 1:68

11.Peace — John 14:27

Called to reflect the Father’s love

Jesus declared:

“The Son can do nothing by Himself; He does only what He sees the Father doing.” — John 5:19

The believer must walk in this same love. It is love that activates the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. Miracles flow where love flows.

“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” — Luke 6:27
“Put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity.” — Colossians 3:14

1. Lord, fill my heart with your love so I may reveal your kingdom on earth.
